Along with vocation/formation and charity work, VFVM supports the need for education, especially for pre-school children in remote villages. Since 2015, VFVM has provided the financial support to five day care centers operated by the Vietnamese Franciscan missionaries serving the ethnic minority children in Pleiku located in the highlands of Vietnam’s Northwest. These day care centers not only educate and feed the pre-school children, but also free their parents to work and their siblings to attend school.
